What Is Lu Jong?
Lu Jong is an ancient Tibetan practice from Tantrayana and Bön traditions comprised of a
series of body movements done in conjunction with rhythmic breathing. This knowledge has been transmitted directly from
master to student primarily by means of oral teachings. Deeply rooted in Tibetan Medicine, with origins dating as
far back as 8,000 years, the sequences were developed for the purpose of self-healing and have profound effects
on the health of our body, mind and spirit.
Bön
Bön is the indigenous belief system of Tibet and is based on reverence for the natural environment.
Tantrayana
Tantrayana is the path of using the body as the vehicle for self-development and is found in
all the main schools of Tibetan Buddhism.
